Privacy policy
What we collect
When you create an account: your email address, a password (stored only as a salted hash, never readable by us), your plan, and the declarations you make at sign-up (that you are 18 or over, that you accept the terms, and whether you want occasional email updates). When you connect Telegram: the chat id Telegram gives us, so the bot can message you, and your Telegram username if your account has one. While you use the service: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, a record of each read we sent you and when, and the IP address of sign-in attempts, kept briefly to throttle repeated failures.
What we do not collect
We do not use analytics trackers, advertising pixels or third-party cookies. We do not know what you do with the read. We never ask for, or store, bookmaker logins, card numbers or any payment details ourselves; when paid plans come, payment is taken by a payment provider that acts as the merchant of record, and we receive only confirmation that a subscription is active.
Why, and on what basis
To provide the service you asked for: the account, the daily read, the delivery (performance of a contract). To keep accounts secure and the service running (our legitimate interest). To send you occasional updates about the tool — only if you ticked the box, and you can untick it at any time (consent). We do not sell or share your email address with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else sees it
The companies that run the service on our behalf, each bound to use the data only for that: our hosting provider (the server the service runs on), Resend (sending email), Telegram (delivering messages you asked for), and Cloudflare (serving the site). Each processes data only as needed to do its job.
How long we keep it
Your account for as long as you have one, and for up to 30 days after you close it so that a mistaken deletion can be undone. Delivery records for 12 months. Sign-in attempt records for 24 hours. Nightly backups of the database are kept for 30 days.
Your rights
You can see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, stop marketing email, or ask for a copy of it, by emailing hello@matchdaita.com from the address on your account. We answer within 30 days. If you are in the UK or the EU, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Cookies
Two, both ours. A session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a setting in your browser that remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. Neither is used to track you across other sites.
